A New Season, a New Reason to Follow Savvy B2B Marketing
After over 18 months and 403 blogs posts, the Savvy sisters are ready to switch things up a bit. So as the leaves change, so do we (and not just into boots and thick sweaters).
Part of it has to do with our constant quest to experiment and make the blog even better. Part of it has to do with the fact that we are all busier than usual. (Which leads us to wonder - could the recession be over, or is it just trade show season?)
So we decided to follow our own advice (See Jamie's post: 12 Ideas for Quick Blog Posts) and look at ways to minimize time spent on writing individual blog posts while maximizing the value for our readers.
What exactly does that mean? While we’ll still be publishing individually-written, “feature” posts, chock full of inspirational ideas and practical strategies for B2B marketing, we will be looking at some more creative and flexible ways to add value for our readers.
A new feature we are really excited about is the weekly “Savvy Speaks” post. The six of us have been powering up our own marketing savvy by bouncing ideas off each other via email for the last eighteen months – now we are going to share some of that synergy with our readers. So, once a week the Savvy Sisters will weigh in on a pre-selected topic, giving readers access to all of our Savvy wisdom in one place.
Due to the popularity of our Friday wrap up posts, we are going to take a hint from our readers and dedicate one day a week to bringing you commentary and analysis on a cool new marketing tool, chart or piece of research we noticed on our web travels.
As we change our style, we look forward to continuing to add valuable B2B content that inspires and informs.
Any thoughts on our new content plan?
