hubspotMktgData.jpgMost marketers are also true data geeks. We love feedback, statistics, polls, surveys, charts, graphs, and all the rest of it. Because we're interested in results, we love to get our hands on the nuts and bolts of what makes things work. We like to see trends, tricks, and tips. We get excited about the Big Picture, but equally as jazzed about all the little bits and pieces and endless detail of the nitty-gritty.

That's why we want to share this report from Hubspot: Marketing Data - 101 Marketing Charts and Graphs.

From Hubspot:
HubSpot has compiled 101 marketing charts and graphs based on original research and data from a variety of sources, including analysis of our 3,500 business customers, surveys with hundreds of businesses responding, analysis of the data in our free tools like Website Grader, Twitter Grader and Facebook Grader.

This Marketing Data and Research presentation includes data on:
  • Lead Generation
  • Blogging and Social Media
  • Marketing Budgets
  • Twitter and Facebook

It's the holidays and we're plenty busy, but we couldn't resist a quick peek at this robust collection. The information is both informative and interesting. We loved seeing the most and least retweeted words on Twitter, and were surprised to learn that Saturday is by far the busiest sharing day on Facebook. But this report isn't just about social media. It also includes data on marketing budgets, traditional channel values, and more. Also, throughout the deck, you can link off to the original full-length Webinars from which all these charts and graphs have been pulled.

All-in-all, this 129-page PDF is a veritable cornucopia of data goodness plus the gateway to a lot more in-depth content via the Webinars. Download it now in case you need a little marketing fix over the holidays.

I guess someone rightly said, Stats hide more than they reveal. I guess all those who analyse reports should also look into what their reports don't reveal ! Great write up though !
